Better Images of AI is a non-profit collaboration addressing the prevalence of clichéd and misleading depictions of artificial intelligence, such as humanoid robots, glowing brains, and sci-fi imagery.

These stereotypical visuals misrepresent AI’s actual capabilities and obscure its societal, environmental, and ethical impacts. By providing a growing repository of realistic, diverse, and inclusive stock images, freely available under CC licences, the initiative aims to foster a better understanding of AI’s applications and implications.

Through research, collaboration, and advocacy, Images of AI seeks to inspire a more authentic visual language for AI, helping to bridge the gap in public understanding and trust.
